Scholarship Recipients

Board Member, Paul McCaffrey and Past Board Member Thomas Gleason organized Open Water Swims for the benefit of raising funds for scholarships and to further enhance the name and cause of the Rhode Island Aquatic Hall of Fame. The list below represents five-hundred- dollar scholarships ($500.00) for twenty-six deserving Interscholastic League Swimmers. These awards are the result of the hard work and dedication of Paul, Tom, and the committee members who assisted them in organizing these competitions. In addition, Past Board member James Quinn, chaired a Scholarship Committee to ensure fairness in the selection process.

Much appreciation and a sincere thank you to Paul, Tom, Jim and all who assisted in this project. A special thanks to all swimmers who competed in these events.

This year, 2024, the Board of Director’s voted to award two one thousand dollar ($1000.00) scholarships instead of the four five-hundred dollar ($500.00) awards.
